Paul and Valquiria Since moving to Torquay in 2020, we have constantly been on a voyage of discovery. there are so many lovely places to visit in Torbay. villages, country estates, the moors the choice is endless. Both being members of The National Trust, we love to visit and learn about new places when we have the time. We both love eating out, and again we are spoilt for choice with the varied world wide choices on offer, in and around Torbay. We both keep very active, and love walking and swimming, and visiting the Princess Theatre in Torquay whenever we can.
The Capri in Torquay, tasteful and well equipped guest house and a central location allowing you to explore the best of the English Riviera.
A short distance from The Capri, are a couple of clean, safe sandy beaches ideal for families with children. A little walk along the seafront and you will find the Marina, where you can take your pick from a choice of cruises. From a day trip along the coast or an evening cruise to enjoy the promenade illuminations. Torquay also has a lively nightlife with renowned restaurants,clubs and pubs. Torquay museum is always worth a visit, and most always has an exhibition which is both informative and interesting. For the more active guests, there is the bowling alley or maybe a bit of sea fishing (weather permitting!) Cycle hire or a brisk walk along the beautiful coast path.
We love having families at The Capri, and because we can offer children’s menu, comfortable family rooms, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, our visiting families always seem to enjoy their stay with us. There is lots of activities for children in and around Torquay, Babbacombe model village, Splashdown water park in Paignton, Pirate experience in Brixham, Paignton zoo,Living coasts. Plus there are many more fun and exciting things for children to do & see, we guarantee they will never be board. And of course The Capri offers a discount for children, depending on their ages.
Each of our en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with the facilities expected of 4 star guest accommodation.
Following a restful night’s sleep, breakfast is served in our dining room which overlooks the garden. Ingredients are all freshly cooked and we are happy to cater for specialist diets by prior arrangement.
